The Super Greek Freak

This Model was born from my brother Mercury's request for a high performance shortboard to have some 80s influence thrown in, with some ease and fun to it. Mercury's quote for the Super Greek Freak was, "party at the front, business at the back". Meaning that the nose to wide point is slightly wider for added stability. The nose rocker is lower for ease of paddle and glide onto waves. And the tail end has slightly more rocker for getting tight into the lip.

The deck is flatter, bringing most of the volume out to the rail, with a steep tapered low crisp rail. This gives the board maximum buoyancy and hold at the tip of the rail. The nose has a slight beak for added forward volume which adds to more ease and glide.

This board was designed to give maximum enjoyment without the sacrifice of performance. 

Design features 

· Low entry rocker for paddling and glide

· Moderate tail rocker for added performance in the tail

· Slightly wider template for ease and flow 

· Slight beak in nose for holding forward volume for ease and inertia through turns

· Flat deck with steep tapered rail for maximum volume and hold at rail tip
