The 80s surfboard evolution saw the birth of the thruster. This bought in the no nose template and wide point behind centre. With flat decks, forward volumes and foiled tail still the norm of the era, wave catch abilities was no issue. Vee bottoms were the standard. This bought smooth rail to rail transition and a larger sweet spot. Tail rockers were generally flater at the time. This was great for a relaxed less effort for speed feel.
The Galaga model brings back these design qualities but with slight modern refinements with rockers and volumes.
Loud and proud sprays with checkers and bright colours are encouraged.
